Bettina Y. Jiang is a versatile Los Angeles–based musician whose work spans education, performance, collaboration, and composition. She is an active member of Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) and has contributed to the organization through various leadership and service roles, including her work as Chair of the Junior Ensemble Festival for the Irvine Branch. She maintains an active private studio in Eastvale, California. Her students regularly participate in recitals, competitions, and level evaluations, with many receiving awards and distinctions. They are actively involved in programs such as the Certificate of Merit and ABRSM examinations.

Bettina Yang Jiang is a composer, pianist, harpist, and educator whose work blends contemporary musical language with deeply rooted Chinese heritage. She holds a Master of Music in Composition from Arizona State University, where she studied with Dr. Judy Rockmaker, Dr. Rodney Rogers, and Dr. Jody DeMars, as well as both a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Composition from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
An active and versatile composer, Bettina has created works for orchestra, chamber ensembles, voice, and solo instruments. Her recent and notable compositions include Two Songs from the Song Dynasty for soprano and orchestra (2012), Rondo on Yimeng Tune for wind ensemble (2011), Songs from Farmland for harp and piano (2011), THREE for violin, cello, and trumpet (2011), Fantasy for Orchestra (2007), Yong Xia for 16 musicians (2006), Distorting Mirror for orchestra (2005), Jian Jia for Qin and Xiao (2005), and Construct for brass quintet (2005). Her analytical paper, “Traditional Factor in Henry Cowell’s Piano Works” (2009), received Second Prize at the 1st National Symposium of Musical Analytics.

Her career also includes extensive experience as a pianist, harpist, accompanist, and music advisor, collaborating with television producers, film directors, performing artists, and creative teams across diverse media.
